The Special Application Series from Stelrad is a range of four different types of radiator. The radiators in this series thrive in demanding locations. There was a lack of radiator in the market for demanding locations. That is why Stelrad committed their time to developing this innovative range of radiators for specialised spaces. Each radiator in this range can deal with a different type of difficult location.
Special Application Heavy Duty Planar
Stelrad’s Heavy Duty Planar is a stylish yet robust radiator. It’s so robust that it can endure the knocks that come with heavy traffic in busy commercial locations. The Heavy Duty Planar is manufactured with a 2mm one section integrated steel fascia, incorporating side and top panels. This radiator also comes with anti-lift brackets, and is designed to thrive in a busy commercial environment.
Special Application Compact K3
The Compact K3 is part of Stelrad’s Special Application Series. It is a triple convection radiator with the usual Stelrad reliable quality. The convectors are precision welded directly onto the waterways for greater efficiency and economy. It has flexible connection allows it to thrive in domestic and commercial locations. The Compact K3 gives an outstanding heat output from a smaller footprint.
Special Application Compact 300
Stelrad’s Special Application Compact 300 was a radiator manufactured due to public demand. It is 300mm wide, and can come in a variation of heights up to 700mm. They are smaller radiators, perfect for when space is at a premium. While the Compact 300 might be smaller in size, it still has the usual Stelrad quality of output.
Special Application Compact Xtra Protection
The Compact Xtra Protection from Stelrad is part of their Special Application Series. This particular radiator offers a proven, high performance. Stelrad’s Compact Xtra Protection is rust resistant in order to provide extra protection to applications where moisture is ever present. This makes it perfect for a number of environments such as bathrooms, shower rooms, leisure clubs etc.

Quality
Stelrad are confident in their radiators ability. This was displayed when they were the first company to bring in a 10-year warranty on a selection of their products. All of their products conform to EN442, the European Standard for radiators. They are also all manufactured in ISO 9000 certified facilities.
Before releasing their products, Stelrad ensure that they are pressure tested to 10.5 bar, assuring weld integrity and go through a leak testing regime. The radiators then undertake a four-stage inspection process before a two-stage painting process, ensuring a hard-wearing finish.
